The 2025 Montreal Electric Vehicle Show: A Showcase for the Future of Sustainable Mobility!
Montreal, April 10, 2025 — From May 2 to 4, 2025, the Montreal Electric Vehicle Show (MEVS), presented by Garantie Avantage Plus, in collaboration with NexDrive powered by NAPA and VE Recharge, will take place at Stade IGA, in the heart of Parc Jarry. This exciting new venue marks a turning point for the event, now in its 8th edition, as it temporarily relocates from the Olympic Stadium due to ongoing renovations. Centrally located and easily accessible, Stade IGA offers an ideal setting for Canada’s premier event dedicated entirely to electromobility.
More than 15 car manufacturers will be in attendance — including Chevrolet, Cadillac, Ford, and Audi — confirming the event’s national scope. MEVS 2025 is set to be the largest event in Canada entirely dedicated to electromobility, showcasing innovations, new vehicle models, and charging infrastructure.
A New Chapter for MEVS
Following its 2024 acquisition by the Montreal International Auto Show (MIAS), MEVS returns with its signature attractions: electric vehicle test drives, expert-led conferences, and cutting-edge technologies, all in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. “For the first time, we have the privilege of leading SVEM, and we are doing everything possible to make it a memorable event. Our team is fully committed to offering visitors an exceptional experience, with experts on-site to answer all their questions. As a leading automotive event promoter in Canada, we are proud to make SVEM a must-attend experience,” said Luis Pereira, Director of MEVS.
While MEVS and MIAS will remain separate events in the short and medium term, MEVS now benefits from the full expertise of the MIAS team, ensuring a high level of organization and logistics. This marks an important milestone in the evolution of electric mobility in Canada.
A Unique Showcase for the Industry
Audi, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Hyundai, Kia, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Toyota, VinFast, Volkswagen, and Volvo: no fewer than 15 brands have already confirmed their attendance to present their latest electric mobility models and innovations.
“Our mission is to make electromobility accessible and tangible for everyone. The show is also a meeting place for visitors, innovators, and decision-makers,” adds Luis Pereira.
Discover, Drive, Experience
In collaboration with CAA-Quebec and Power Q, visitors will have the chance to test drive over 20 electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles on-site — a unique opportunity to experience electric mobility firsthand.
MEVS will also feature expert-led conferences and presentations. The full schedule will be announced shortly.
An Accessible Location, at the Heart of the City
Located near public transit, bike paths, and parking facilities, Stade IGA offers optimal accessibility for all visitors. The entire event will be held indoors, in a comfortable environment sheltered from the weather. From May 2 to 4, electric vehicle enthusiasts are invited to Stade IGA, Parc Jarry in Montreal, for an immersive, hands-on look at the future of mobility.
