Musk says Tesla robotaxi will see August unveil
In a situation which seems to be more on-again-off-again than most Hollywood relationships, fresh rumours are burbling today about the so-called ‘cheap Tesla’ which is intended to slot in the company’s lineup underneath the Model 3.
According to a report by the Reuters news service, a trio of sources deep within the company have confirmed the project is deader than disco, citing internal conversations and messages allegedly viewed by reporters at Reuters.
This prompted a retaliatory statement from Musk, who proclaimed in an infantile manner that news services were flat-out lying about the project’s cancellation.
