It’s a confusing time for electric vehicles. Very confusing. BEV sales are, depending on who you’re reading, either tanking or growing at an unprecedented pace. The cost of electric vehicles is either rapidly declining; or the reason that the average transaction price of a new car has skyrocketed.
And battery pricing is either plummeting; or will remain stubbornly high. Hell, if a recent Reuters report is to be believed, even something as seemingly obvious as building out Canada’s recharging infrastructure is really based on collecting votes.
