Owner Review: 2024 Mini Cooper SE
Although Steve Lockhart had never sat in nor driven a modern Mini, the instantly recognizable vehicle was something he always thought he’d like to own. “I loved the look of the car, and it was always kind of a dream for me,” says Lockhart, who lives just west of Calgary in the community of Redwood Meadows.
Lockhart’s dream became a reality this summer when he purchased a 2024 Mini Cooper SE Premier+ 2.0, an all-electric example of the 3-door car.
To his surprise, however, the Mini he bought with his wife, Kerry, turned out to be the one millionth example of this generation to roll off the assembly line at Plant Oxford in the U.K.
