Chevy confirms electrified Corvette due 2023
This is the type of news which is welcomed around our offices on a Monday morning: GM president Mark Reuss announces the company will launch an electrified Corvette “as early as next year,” with a fully electric version to follow in due course.
The statement, made early this AM on a U.S. cable news morning show, was quickly followed by a teaser video posted to Chevy’s channel on YouTube.
Eagle-eyed viewers of the quick clip will spot the front tires on this camouflaged test mule kicking up snow, a sure-fire clue that the forthcoming electrified Corvette will have all-wheel-drive.
